ABOUT LORI R. MILLER
Who am I?
Throughout most of my life I have been that friend and coworker others have come to for insight, guidance, and an empathetic ear.
It wasn’t too surprising, really, that I became a therapist.
Before psychology got my attention, I spent 20+ years in the corporate world in marketing and communications, across three industries: retail, healthcare, and energy.
I got to work with super creative teams and good people.
But I also got to know firsthand the challenges with handling work and issues at home all at the same time.
The burnout, anxiety, pressure, stress, fear of change, toxic environments, relationship issues, keeping all the plates spinning and the struggle to be “the best you” in spite of it all.
This makes me a bit unique as a therapist because I’ve experienced what many of my clients are dealing with at work and with their families.
